The Standard Bank Mauritius Open is one the main golf events in Mauritius. It gathers every year in Mauritius professional players from the European Tour, Challenge Tour, Senior Tour and Sunshine Tour.
After two years on the West coast, the event has moved to the East Coast in 2011 and is now organised at Le Touessrok Golf Course on Ile aux Cerfs. This outstanding venue for an international golf event is considered as a must-play for any golfer visiting Mauritius.
Participants and their guests stay at 5* Luxury world known Le Touessrok and at Long Beach, the most contemporary of 5* star resorts in Mauritius.
The Mauritius Open is open to professionals and amateurs from all over the world. It is a great opportunity to enjoy golf during Mauritius’ summer and at the same time meet famous international players of the like of Victor Dubuisson, Tom Lewis, Raphael Jacquelin or Grégory Bourdy.
Mauritian Pros and Amateurs also participate in this event which comprises two competitions: namely a Pro Am and The Mauritius Open itself. The Standard Bank Mauritius Open is considered as a very high profile event and one of the main international sport events in Mauritius.
